In addition to great programs for the kids, the Community Library Network also has fun and interesting events for adults. This fall the programs will explore mushroom hunting, the history of chocolate and the life of Mark Twain. 

Here is a list of events coming up in August, September and October:

Lets Get Busy Preserving

  • Wednesday, August 21, 6-7:30 p.m.
  • Come learn how to preserve your fresh fruits and vegetables safely. Free, no registration needed.

Mark Twain 100 Years Later

  • Thursday, August 29, 7 p.m.
  • An entertaining and educational performance by Branson, MO, performer Dave Ehlert takes us back in time for an intimate evening with Mark Twain.  Free, no registration required.

Hunting for Wild Mushrooms in North Idaho

  • Monday, September 9, 6:30 p.m.
  • This program will include mushrooming cautions, a review of the best mushroom field guides, and a slide show of spring and fall mushrooms found in North Idaho. Free, no registration required.
