From the Community Library Network:

The Community Library Network invite teens, ages 13 to 18, to enter the Teen Film Festival Video Contest.  Now entering its fifth year, this year’s theme is “Spark a Reaction.”   Entries may be up to five minutes long using the theme.  The deadline for submission is Friday, April 11, midnight.

This year, there is extra incentive to submit a video, said Nick Madsen, Young Adult Specialist.  “The Red Carpet screening event will take place at the Hayden Discount Cinema Theater.   Can you imagine what it would be like to see your video shown on a full-sized screen?”   The screening will take place on Tuesday, April 15 at 6 p.m. and the public is invited to see the entries.  There is no charge to enter the contest or to attend the Red Carpet event.

Winning entries will be awarded cash prizes, thanks to sponsorship by the Friends of the Community Library Network and the Friends of the Post Falls Library.   Judging is based upon creativity, message clarity and relevance, motivation and inspiration and overall impact.   Entries can be submitted online at CommunityLibrary.Net/teen2014film.
