12-acre corn maze opens this weekend in Hauser, Idaho | Events
From the view of a helicopter, you can see the smiling scarecrow looking over 12 acres of corn. It’s been sectioned off into a giant corn maze near the state line of Idaho and Washington.
This is the ninth season for the corn maze in Hauser. Every year after the corn harvest is complete, it is sectioned into a squiggle of lines and this year it has 4.2 miles of path.
The maze opens this weekend on September 21 with funds going to support regional non-profit groups. While you’re there you can also pick a pumpkin from their pumpkin patch - just in time for Halloween.
The maze closes on October 31. To visit, take Interstate 90 to exit 299. They’re located at 3405 N. Beck Road. For information on the hours and admission prices, visit the maze’s website at www.incrediblecornmaze.com.
