Community Library Network will be conducting a survey of library users and nonusers in its service area starting next week. The survey has been commissioned as part of the library’s strategic plan and will be used to help determine future library service offerings in the District.
The Community Library Network has facilities in Athol, Harrison, Hayden, Pinehurst, Post Falls, Rathdrum and Spirit Lake. The District offers outreach services including a bookmobile. It also operates a Bookmobile and offers outreach services.
Library Director John Hartung said, “We’re seeking community input to ensure our library services will continue to evolve in a way that’s relevant and useful to the community, while making the very best use of taxpayer dollars.”
A combination of focus groups, telephone and online techniques will be used to survey a randomly selected sample of residents within the communities the District serves. The survey is being conducted by Strategic Research Associates.
