Class to teach Cd'A residents about raising chickens | Pets
Whether you're looking for fresh eggs or just hoping to make some feathered friends, a class in Coeur d'Alene next month wants to help educate you on raising chickens within city limits.
The class, titled "Chicks in the City - Raising Chickens within City Limits," is in session twice next month, on Monday, March 3 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Saturday, March 8 from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm.

Back by Popular Demand! Presentation will be given by Beckie Williams, a University of Idaho Veteran Master Gardener and Marsha Broadsword, a small farm owner. We will provide you with vital information needed to start your chicks on the road to being happy, productive hens. Also discussed will be the various rules and regulations in regard to raising chickens mandated by Kootenai County and cities within the county. Call and register today, as space is limited.
